With the weekend’s conjunction of Sun and Pluto the Ambrosia staff started considering how does this connective energy play out in the astrological mythopoeia? In essence, Sun and Pluto work well together but it can be a difficult process and one which many may not realise has its’ evolutionary value. Leo/Apollo, like Icarus, often flies off into the Sun and can on a many occasion get their wings burnt, but then gets grounded by Scorpio/Hades who shows them real life, and all that needs to be dealt with at earth level. Also the subconscious world is partly activated by Pluto/Scorpio, where the dreams reside, those deep reflections we grow alone, and when we let Hades presents them to the Sun, they manifest. To aide the communicative resonance, we pull in Mercury, currently in Aquarius, whose energies are beneficial when they provide dynamic motion, but when the Mercurial vibrations become too ungrounded, both Sun/Pluto withdraws and Mercury gets caught in a whirlwind, until he is grounded and can rise again.
