We shall be carrying our emotions with us in June. And they will run high. Major planets Saturn, Jupiter and Pluto have all turned retrograde already. With them we are also looking within ourselves for stability, blessings, and empowerment. Venus too has gone retrograde, and that’s affecting us all on an even more personal level. Here our values and relationships with others – our own mirror in life – are directly impacted. Wherever we have Venus in our chart that place will manifest strong changes. But they will not necessarily come from the outside. So this is the astrological landscape that we find ourselves in as we enter the month of June.
Covered in the energy of Gemini, normally this is time for movement, exchanges of ideas and things, outwards practical creativity, and words flying in the air. With Venus camping here in Gemini we would expect happy chatter and joy in curious pursuits. But as she’s going retrograde and aspecting the outer planets in their retrograde journeys all is not as it seems. The energy is palpably nervous, impatient and solitary. We will be emotional a lot of the time. But there is strength and standing up firm in our own power.
In addition there will be eclipses. Things will be brought to us, and things will be taken away, with or without our consent. As with the Seven of Cups, indecision and uncertainty will characterize us. We will hesitate what to chose or how to move forward, and just as we think we have nailed it, something else will come along that will make us doubt our decision making once again. Another set of calculations and choices will have to be made. Balancing our emotions and subjectivity with the environment around us will be ongoing. And so here in June there will be a strong inward-outward exchange of energies in constant flux. It will lead to the World. And it is spinning. By the end of the month forward movement will materialize. Events will culminate and there will be completion. What is gone is not coming back. New experiences will take place.
Venus will come out of darkness and is going direct on the 25th of June. She will help us attract what is good and beautiful into our lives. The nurturing energy of Cancer flowing marvelously with Neptune in Pisces around this time will bring even more gifts of gratitude and kindness, inspiration and creativity, homely comfort and familiar settings will be re-energized. Our sense of accomplishment will override the obstacles. The journey has brought wholeness but events are still unfolding! As the World keeps turning new chapters in love, work and pleasure are still being written.
