Full Moon Libra 25 March 2024 – by Flavia

We have reached the apex of the story. What ever culminates, concludes and finishes, at this high point, is definitive. A storyline comes to end and, for better or for worse, we are done with it irrefutably. It is the time of year of no return. It is the Full Moon, a south node lunar eclipse, that takes place on 25 March, 2024, at 07:00 GMT, and at 05 degrees and 07 minutes of Libra. New information comes to light from others, which will make this point of no return for us. Outside forces are so strong that are compelling us to accept that we can not control others and we can not do everything. Things happen outside our control. What is within our power, though, is always how we respond to those challenges, and what our attitude is. We are fully in charge of that.

At the second half of March and for the whole of April, we are felling idealistic and on a love quest. Mars is in Pisces. Our sense of purpose, and drive, is diffused and unfocused. We are drifting in a world of make believe. The world as is represented by the Knight of Cups is a world of dreaming rather than seeing what is in front of us. We are offering action by looking for idyllic situations and marvellous solutions. But it’s all an illusion. At the time of the full moon in Libra, we are at an endgame. Opposite the moon in Libra, we have a massive cluster of all major and personal planets in only three signs, Pisces, Aries and Taurus. The reality of our situation is opposition, confrontation, a journey of inquest. We come face to face with the greater reality of what is ahead of us. The Knight of Cups is on a quest, but he’s offering an empty cup. There is a sense of void that needs filling. We are indeed at an eclipse. An eclipse on the South Node. The fullness of the moon shows us what needs emptying or where emptying is occurring. In the sign of Libra, the sign of otherness, justice, harmony and the beauty of delegation and negotiation, it is all about the balance of us against the others, the group, the assembly. We might find that our passion and quest for love in one area of life, our body, our projects, our family, home life or business, the location where we live, wherever that might be, is now out of reach of realisation. Our goals have been deluding us.

In fact it looks like our personal Knight of Cups, this romantic, attractive, engaging side ourselves, has turned us into the Nine of Wands. The exhausted warrior, damaged, needing support, still standing but feeling defeated. In our desperate attempt to create defences, barriers and borders to protect of harm part of our lives, our dreams or possessions, we have just had enough. The Nine of Wands is telling us to take a pause to take stock, and take it easy. It is about pacing ourselves and accepting the reality. The physical impediments which are outside our control and which are greater than us need to be acknowledged. Otherwise, we are faced with seeing our courage and passion turned into hubris or envy, leading us to disaster. The next sign after Libra is Scorpio. The fall of the moon. The place where nothing rises. Let’s not go there. The next card of the Nine of Wands is the Ten of Wands. The card that signifies unbearable burden, heavy responsibility and a huge workload. We are given the opportunity to stop, while we are still standing, before a total collapse and before the situation becomes unmanageable.

Instead, we can adopt the advice coming from The Empress. We can follow the example of The Empress. Try and emulate her way of being, her way of realising her passions. This is the greater card of manifestation. Of receptivity, and of physical manifestation. She flows with events, and rather than forcing situations, she lets abundance and goodness to come to her. She is in full possession of herself, her body and her decision making, without being bossy or aggressive. Everything about her is beautiful and serene. She can say no, she can be fussy, and entitled, maybe at times a little bit too laid back. But, fundamentally, The Empress manifests without stress or by trying too hard to achieve. She has an abundant energy and creativity that she shares with others in the moment, in the here and now. Her powers of realisation in the material world, are in the lack of attachment to outcomes, and are for a greater whole, a larger communing, a bigger group of people.

Let the Full Moon in Libra, on the South Node, at this eclipse time, show us the way forward. It’s about letting go of the fights and the need to control others. Or, we are not going to like the outcome. Let things flow to us, allow freedom and ease to guide us and nurture whatever we are aspiring towards. It is a time when we are feeling lazy, tired and deflated, even exhausted physically and mentally. We need to let nature guide us and show us what is, ultimately, in front of us without delusion of false narratives. We need to sit back and enjoy what comes next, with appreciation and contentment, in the clear knowledge that we have taken it as far as it goes.
