The King of Wands from the Moon Dust Tarot joins us this week as we celebrate the beginning of the new Zodiacal year with the Spring Equinox and Aries season. In the card we see a crowned man, wearing a fur-lined, golden coloured cape. He holds a wand in his right hand and an orb with a cross, a globus cruciger, in his left hand. A lion lies regally at his left side. Behind the King of Wands we see a pale blue lake and purple mountains, and the moon cycle is visible in the sky above.
The message the King of Wands brings is trust and power, passionate new beginnings and self-worth that illuminates us through all possible difficulties. He wants to support the unique gifts and talents which you have and he wants you to bring them out into the world. His vibrant energy is contagious and he is pushing us through new doors, and especially those which we thought were locked and impossible to enter and pass through.
Spring Equinox brings new beginnings and possibilities, paired with the fiery Aries energy. Now is a portent time to reinvent and restart any personal goals and dreams which have been lingering. The vibrational frequencies of extended sunlight and longer days will boost manifestation and ensure that wishes do come true. The actions you take this month will reap its fruits at the Autumn Equinox 22 September. Trust in the power of the King of Wands to ignite you forward on your life path.
Our additional helper this week is Atlantisite, an opaque crystal which is a combination of green serpentine with pink to purple veins of stichtite. Atlantisite was found 1910 at Stichtite Hill, Dundas mineral field, Zeehan in Tasmania. Atlantisite is a trade name given to the stone by Gerald Pauley because it reminded him of Atlantis when he held it. Atlantisite is connected to the crown and heart chakras and helps to cleanse, balance and heal issues in these areas. It enhances peace, relaxes the body and mind, and supports meditative practice. Atlantisite boosts self-esteem and shows us our strengths, and also our limits through its protective qualities. It shields against negative energies and helps to resolve conflicts. Atlantisite supports metaphysical connections and helps us to remember past lives and shows us how to connect with spirits from other realms.
Spring Equinox journey to cleanse, release and heal
Find a quiet place to sit or lie down, where you will be undisturbed. Take a few deep breaths and exhale, let all tension go, until you feel relaxed and grounded. If you have an Atlantisite crystal, place it on your crown chakra. Then, see yourself standing on a wooden jetty, at a small lake where the water is calm and deep turquoise. You look around in all directions, there is a beautiful mountainous landscape behind you and a deep green island ahead of you. You look down at your feet and you see a green stone in front of them. You decide to pick it up and look at it. There are small abstract markings on the stone which you do not recognize. You draw your fingers along the marks and they lit up with a warm glow. Then you hear the sound of bells and look up and see that a narrow, rainbow coloured bridge has appeared in front of you, continuing from the jetty to the island ahead. You decide to walk on the bridge to the island.
The bridge feels cool and with every step you take it sparkles. Multicoloured starfish swim in the water along the bridge, it feels as if they are leading you to the island. When you get to the island and step off the bridge, there is another path, also rainbow coloured, which leads into the island. You decide to follow this path, which winds through a small forest. After a while you reach a circular rainbow coloured temple, raised by a few steps from the ground, with slim columns holding up the roof. You decide to walk into the temple and look around, there are a a few wooden benches decorated with rainbow coloured stones. You decide to sit down on one of the benches and relax. You look at the beautiful temple walls, decorated with abstract markings and exotic flowers. After a while you feel very calm and close your eyes for a bit, holding the green stone you found on the jetty in your left hand.
You begin to feel a calming green colour from the stone. It reaches into your left hand and begins to spread into your body through the left arm. The colour calms your body and mind and makes you feel very relaxed. You can feel the green energy in every part of your body, from your left hand to the right hand, in your upper body and your lower body. The green energy is flowing into your belly, and down to your legs and feet. You can feel how the green colour is calming your heart and cleansing your third eye and crown chakra. Enjoy this healing flow of green colour. Feel how it is emptying out all blocks and excessive energy in your body and mind. Allow the green colour to release all that is no longer needed.
After a while you feel how the green colour begins to leave your body. You take a deep breath in and out. Shake your body and stamp your feet to ground yourself. You feel ready to return to the present moment. Open your eyes slowly and say thank you to Atlantisite for the spring clean and the healing received.
