Full Moon Taurus 8 November 2022 – by Flavia

We are between eclipses. And between two worlds. The axis is the Scorpio-Taurus. The south node in Scorpio is releasing the desire to merge. The north node is in physical and materially engaged Taurus attracting value. The total lunar eclipse is the full moon taking place on 08 November 2022, at 16 degrees and 00 minutes of Taurus, and at 11:01 GMT. Sun in Scorpio, Venus in Scorpio, Mercury in Scorpio and Moon in Taurus, Saturn in Aquarius, there is a lot of fixed sign energy. But this eclipse is breaking all that stability at the seams and completing what already started two weeks ago. Things that do not bend, or shift shape, tend to break under pressure. And there is a lot of cosmic pressure going on. Trying to keep everything together may prove the wrong approach.

A lot more is going on besides that is both overpowering and magical. We have a stellium in Scorpio. A truly magical, between worlds time. One that is best experienced by going within. Not attaching our action to material gains.

So we might find ourselves in, what appears counter-intuitive at first glance, a situation where the very fact of trying to hold on to things will actually lead to loss. It is an overarching Scorpio theme exacerbated by a retrograde Mars in mutable Gemini, while the ruler of the lunation, Venus, is in fall, in Scorpio. This makes for the mystique of The High Priestess. An authority between two worlds, two ways of being, two ways of believing and of creating. The High Priestess is forever transmuting energy and giving shape to a new reality. It is a Venus that will still attract what she wants, and she will put her stamp of value on the things she desires, because that is her very purpose and her own power to manifest. But a Venus in Scorpio means things are complicated. We could find that the past and things hidden will come to light and make new sense. Elements of the past and what is so far unseen is made obvious and has new meaning. Going after dark desires and hidden agendas will become more attractive and, indeed, alluring. Their power will surface. Situations and individuals that are unusual, or even unpleasant may become prominent in this configuration culminating with the eclipse. The senses, sounds, visuals, tastes and smells will take centre stage.

And everything will accelerate. Be prepared for fast moving and ever evolving plots and story lines. Look how dynamic the Knight of Swords is flying in our life events. We wont have time to think. And our reactions are going to be completely instinctual. We will be acting quickly and from our gut. We are finding ourselves at a solar plexus moment. We will have to move on the flight as contradictory and even opposing demands will attract our attention. And we will certainly be distracted. Our energy will be spread all over the place. Not in one direction or in a focused, direct order. Yet, this is a very empowering and truthful inducing full moon. Between the simplicity of Taurus and the complexity of Scorpio our truth will be revealed in practical and material ways. The full moon is happening hand in hand with Uranus. And Uranus is impatient and is not going to stand around waiting for events to mature. His abrupt and impulsive energy will take us all by surprise, so that anything stale and all procrastination will be kicked to million pieces.

When the dust settles, we will have to rely on our own powers of wisdom and our own knowledge. It is our own soft light coming from the hermit’s lantern that will light the way forward. The Knight is obviously still fighting past demons. The future is coming together more mysterious and more magical because it is more malleable than we had imagined. And we are making it as we go along. The Hermit reminds us about humility. We can be alone but not lonely. Because we know ourselves and we have values attached to purpose as we move forward. A lot of the dead wood is cleared out. We know we can cope with much more dirt and unpleasantness than we ever imagined we were capable of, and we have come out of it stronger and healthier for it.

There is a lot of metaphorical swords energy about, and has been for some time now, as these readings go on. This is without a doubt represented in the real world with anger and aggression we experience on the outside or directed towards the self. At some point, as The Hermit shows, we will reach the limit and decisions will need to be made. We are advised by the spread to prepare for that moment as the moon wanes and the sky darkens. Once we find ourselves at the edge and the precipice, behind us there is the throne of complacency and hidden wealth, the stairs to the side look precarious. This is when we need to be careful going forward with our plans. From that moment onwards there is no turning back. We are our own teacher and mentor. Our guide for success must be our own true light. But the light is small and humble. We will have to make our choices with out anyone else’s assistance. On our own strength. Small easy steps, will take us where we want to be. We have learnt our lessons. Once we let go of past hurt and the weight of disappointment, we can believe in the new that is around the corner. And the sky is the limit.
