Full Moon Pisces 10 September 2022 – by Flavia

This is the stuff dreams are made of. The circle has closed. We can sit back, reflect and absorb the magic. It is the full moon in Pisces, the watery element of the two fish swimming in opposite directions. It is a mutable sign announcing change. A feminine sign of faith, justice and higher knowledge. The feminine domain of Jupiter, and last sign on the astrological wheel. We have come a long way. The full moon in Pisces is happening on September 10, 2022, at seventeen degrees and forty minutes, and at 09:58 GMT. It is called the Harvest Moon. The time of absolute completion and conclusion is here. We are now in collective mode, assessing and organising. But for the time of the full moon, when secrets are revealed and hidden events, actions and motivations come to light, it is time to sit back and rest. Even if it’s just for a moment.

Honour this moment of the full moon in Pisces as the most important of the year. Maybe in silence and maybe in reflection. What comes to light during this lunation has been building, not just for the last two weeks, or six months, but for at least a year. The Temperance makes it clear that we have come back to ourselves, our calm and our inner power. It is empowerment through patience, spirituality and contentment. And it’s all self generated. Our inner peace is the peace we find in the outside world. It stands as a blessing and as a warning. We have reached the higher ground.

The angel of Temperance stands upon the land and the water, and pours the waters of life from one vessel to another. The card represents balance, adapting to circumstances and finding harmony. The message is to consider the elements that make up our life and ask if they are conductive to spiritual alchemy. Something is created right now that transcends the elements that it contains. So the alchemy that takes place has to be right. And we have everything that we need to achieve that which we wish. The full moon in Pisces brings culmination and an unparalleled sense of completion.

With the 10 of Swords the picture of brutal reality is unequivocal. The signs can no longer be ignored or denied. Some things just cant be repaired. This is the end. Accept it and move on.

As we move to the future a Page of Swords energy is moving the plot forward. He is an intelligent young person who thinks he knows more than he does. He is analytical but lacks true understanding and real world experience. If we had this card anywhere else in the spread other than the future position, various different meaning could be suggested especially with urging caution or advising on not overdoing it. But given the narrative, I would say that it’s a card willing us to embrace the future. It is another card that calls for optimism and belief in ourself and our abilities. We don’t need to have everything, we don’t need to know everything, we don’t need everyone on site. We can learn as we go along, we can discover new knowledge, we can acquire wisdom on the job.

After we’ve gone through the Temperance and the Ten of Swords, we have shed old mentalities that hold us down, old problems that make us feel weary, and now we are certain without any doubt that we can only look forward. We’ve done everything we can in our power, and have gone over and over trying to save situations that were really unsalvageable, but the end is non negotiable. Whether this manifests with regard to things, people or places, might vary for each one of us, but the overall theme is constant and conclusive.

The freedom and sense of relief that this ending brings with it, is also non-negotiable. We are heading to new territory with enthusiasm and youthful energy. Maybe not just yet. The Sun and Moon are always moving forward, but personal planet Mercury, and generational planets Pluto, Saturn, Neptune and Uranus, are all in retrograde motion. Jupiter, the ruler of this lunation, is also in retrograde. So the past looms big in our hearts and minds. Oppositions and squares outnumber harmonious trines and opportunity driven sextiles. Things are not easy for anyone. We are pulled towards the past and it is slowing us down. Challenges come from different directions.

However, the realisations that the full moon in Pisces has illuminated will bring a much needed change in circumstances and our own personal mode of operating. Change will be dramatic and all consuming. We might not like it. But it will offer solutions to problems. It will break with stagnant emotions or past habits that hold us back. As we are heading into autumn full speed, we will see that once we are over this dreamy period of recollection and quiet reflection, events will accelerate beyond our wildest imagination with renewed force and impetus. Use Temperance to recharge, to fill up emotionally and spiritually for the battles ahead. The Full Moon in Pisces is perfect for it.
