Full Moon Sagittarius 14 June 2022 – by Flavia

We are in excellent mutable energy of sun in Gemini and moon in Sagittarius. We are collecting information and adapting to new experiences, new languages, new people. We are learning to do things differently. Our desire for variety is accentuated. The supreme God Jupiter, the ruler of higher knowledge, truth and justice, is massively energised by cardinal energy in Aries, and infused with a aggressive competitive spark from sharing the sign with war god Mars. These configurations do not make for subtleties and polite gestures. The enthusiasm and power is within and without. There is no way around it. Emotions, sensitivities and reactions are hyped as it culminates with the super full moon on June 14, 2022, in 23 degrees and 24 minutes of Sagittarius, and at 11:51 GMT. This is a very erotic full moon showing up with sexual power again and again, both in masculine and feminine form. It is active and it is reflective. In both cases demanding and attracting. It’s inceptive and joyful. It’s the power of life.

Sagittarius has a goal and a target. At the centre of the spread, the Justice card, gives a karmic context as a reminder to own our own actions. Being self-possessed in our own domain and in our own selves. We are moved towards making a decision with confidence and objectivity. Data becomes meaningful and justice is ascribed. At the same time we are at the grip of intense fire energy with the Ace of Rods, or as it’s usually known, the Ace of Wands. Sagittarius is of course a fire sign. The Ace card is initiatory and inspiring. The Rod is the spark that starts a fire. The decisions we are making are not cold or calculating, but have spirit and passion behind them as well. Opportunities for wealth and growth can come suddenly and out of nowhere. This is a gift giving moment. With so many planets right now in their own sign, every element is in place for success. And that includes Personal and Transpersonal planets, those that rule both the collective and our own daily life.

Firstly, Mercury is re-entering Gemini, its domicile, and communication issues are being resolved before we move into a new territory in business or in love, or both. Venus is already at home in Taurus, and helping us with comfort and security – how to enjoy the simple and fundamental things in life, food, beauty, cleanliness, earthly possessions, pleasure, value in nature but also design and art, all things feminine. On the masculine – intellectual and abstract side of things – there is Saturn: the supreme denier of everything luscious and indulgent. Saturn, might be considered a malefic planet, but in his home sign of Aquarius he makes sure we have a realistic account of our situation by helping us – as a collective – keep a certain distance from events in order to avoid too much drama and the unconscionable flare of hot tempers. He is configured well with Mercury in Gemini by a trine, to ensure our plans are serious enough and have longevity. Meanwhile, Mars in Aries, his masculine domicile, will ensure we have the energy and a strong head-on direction to pursue our goals. Last but not least, let’s us not forget Neptune. He too is at home in the feminine sign of Pisces.

Our capacity to dream big and beyond is still there, no matter the facts, what everyone says, or our material circumstances or gifts. Ultimately, all Gods are working under Neptune’s spell. As the ruler of the water element, he has the power to dissolve everything in creation. He can bring distant riches nearby or wash ashore treasures with waves of elevation. Rising and falling, swelling and sinking he is there playing the long game. And he can do it gradually, or abruptly. He is The High Priestess. The High Priestess who is sitting on a moon – the paramount symbol of protection and materialisation – is pregnant with possibilities and opportunities for wealth in any sphere of life. She represents the dissolution of boundaries between inner desire and practical manifestation. It is not realistic, or even spiritual, from our perspective to hold on tight to things – weather it is people, places, relationships, physical objects, situations, habits, aesthetics. Accepting in applicable way the mutability and growth of the order of things, is our best course of action. Remember justice is being done because we are it in ourselves.

With the full moon and the planets position we are given a unique opportunity to fight and win what we value, live with authenticity and justice within an ever changing and evolving situation. We have the knowledge and we have the power. As the energies culminate both our inner wisdom and the external resources are illuminated and presented to us. But while this is a full moon of great promise and goodness, in its square to Neptune, there is an underlying, constant, and unmistakable sense of danger. We are not in a safe or stable environment as we try to break away from stale or unhealthy patterns, but we have all the tools we need to create something better and greater even than our wildest dreams. The High Priestess throne itself looks like it’s balanced on a pendulum. Yet, she is standing strong and with the ability to produce beneficial results in her connection to mysticism and sexual power. Our situation is not static but still evolving guided by the Justice, and contextualised by the High Priestess. The opportunity to maximise our gifts and potential is there, and represented by the Ace of Rods. We don’t know what is to come of it. Unforeseen events will come into the equation. So from our standpoint we have to take our chances, believe in ourselves and our destiny, and act upon it without reference to the outcome. June is building up to be a self empowering as much as a social month. This super full moon is speaking loudly and clearly. With restlessness and with the view for greater freedom and knowledge, we are our own teacher as we teach others. Busy with travel, meeting others, working in new territories or with new technologies, the super full moon in Sagittarius is combative spiritually and physically, erotic in a symbolic and material sense, and will culminate with a focus on a big scale decision-making with karmic consequences. Sagittarius has a goal, a target and the enthusiasm to get to it.
